Description

Cain is a super gentle draft geldien mule that loves people. Born in 2000, out of a draft mare. We raised Cain, owned him until he was 6 then were forced to sell him. After a couple of changes of ownership we had the opportunity to buy him pack and jumped at it.

He packs and rides. This mule has packed just about anything you can put on an animal including camp equipment, wild game, horns and a chainsaw. He has been used in a dude string for several years giving rides in the mountains to very inexperienced dudes. He has crossed creeks, bridges and deadfall. Our base of operation was approximately 8500 ft near a popular ski resort in SW Montana. He’s been ridden and packed into hunting camp. This mule can really get out and cover some ground, but he will go as slow as you let him.
Great with his ears, really good to shoe, super easy to catch, he will be the first one to find you. Good with dogs. This is an honest mule with a super cool color to boot! Hasn’t been lame or sick and day in his life.

Perfect age, he’s had years and years of experience with lots of miles to go text me at 618-800-0878

  1. Your Mule is beautiful and seems to have much experience, but why would you want to give him away if so?

We’d have a wonderful home for him on our mini farm in Michigan. Have Mule experience and have a smaller set (brothers now) My favorite animal. Would love to take him but not sure how to get him here.

  2. Your mule still available he would be for me I’m in my 70’s & looking for a really good broke trail mule & your mule appears to have done it all. He would be in a awesome home with my wife’s mule we trail ride every weekend. Thanks for your time

WE have draft mules, and would love to have his guy as an addition to the heard. Lost Trail Station, we pull logs, pack, and drive, and sometimes ride. HE would have a wonderful home. Could you meet us halfway? We are in Colorado. I don’t know how to text…

  6. Is this still available

Saw your add, and am interested I just retired and am looking for a friend to spend it with me. My husband works out of state and comes home on weekends. We have had horses before Percherons, but I had to sell them due to illness. I am looking for a mule after reading and following a lot of info.
we live in the country and have a little over 5 acres. I am now healthy and needing a friend, so let me know if I am an option.

    Thank You
    Bonnie
