A good mule is hard to find, but here’s a good one! May’s only 13H tall, but she can easily handle an average-sized person. She’s absolutely wonderful on the trails…she’s great with traffic, doesn’t spook easily, goes over bridges, through water, leads, follows, goes out alone with encouragement, and gets along well with other horses. I’ve used her for ponying my young horses and she’s wonderful at that. Even gives my kids sled rides in the winter! If you’re looking for something to go on an all-day trail ride with and not have any worries, May will be perfect! She’s also the perfect size for pulling a cart..if someone has the time to train her for that. I was told she was shown in 4H by her previous owners, however, I find that she gets very bored in the arena, so I’m not exactly sure what she was shown in?? She can also have a stubborn streak where she doesn’t want to go, so she’s not a good fit for beginners. I bought her in hopes of having an “all-around” lesson-type mule, but she’s not working out for that so I sadly must sell her.
